Classical Chamber Duo to Present Masters Concert at RB Library

Oct. 24 Concert Features Masters of Music Alyze Dreiling and Magdolna Bornemisza

Alyze Dreiling and Magdolna Bornemisza, two of this area's most renowned Masters of Music, will present their premier classical chamber concert at 6:15 pm Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Rancho Bernardo Library. The duo will perform works by Mozart, Saint-Saens and Schubert. It features the Mozart Violin Sonata K. 454 in B B major, Schubert Arpeggione Sonata for Viola and Piano D. D. 821, Saint-Saens Violin Sonata No. 1 in d minor, Op. 75.

Alyze is an award-winning conductor, and accomplished violinist and violist in San Diego. In addition to serving as the YPO Soloists Ensemble Artistic Director and Conductor, she is adjunct faculty at Grossmont Colllege, University of San Diego and USD Chamber Music Festival. Magdolna is a well known music teacher in the San Diego area and is an experienced performer as a soloist and collaborative pianist, a church musician and choir leader. She also was a board member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California and served on the Executive Board of The Musical Merit Foundation of Greater San Diego.

This concert will be in the Rancho Bernardo Library Community Room, 17110 Bernardo Center Drive. It is sponsored by the nonprofit RB Library Friends as a cultural service to the community. No tickets are required and although there is no charge; donations are encouraged to cover the costs of the musicians.
