Elements Café Announces NEW Partnership with Abraxas High School Garden Project to Create Offsite Farmers Market
The Abraxas Student Inspired Garden Project‘s PAY -WHAT YOU -CAN Farmers Market will begin Wednesday September 5th 11:30a.m-1:30 and continue the first Wednesday of each month thru autumn!
Held on the Patio at Elements Café adjacent to the Poway Unified School District Office at 15250 Avenue of Science San Diego, 92128.

With the Abraxas Garden blooming and producing over 1 Ton of produce, mostly being donated to the community this was a way to take the classroom on the road and offsite from the school.
“It seemed very relevant to have the Farmers Market be the next level of learning for the students says Bob Lutticken – teacher and organizer for the Abraxas Garden Project. We feel that the Garden has been a bright spot for a solid future for these engaged students, with goals for career possibilities, new skills, and a more positive self-image.”

The Abraxas Garden Project Farmers Market will highlight the San Diego Seed Co, Procurer of Local and Heirloom Seeds, as well as fresh garden recipes and cooking demos.
