“It’s Going to be Headache Weather Today!”

A household name here in San Diego, Jodi Kodesh is well known for her weather forecasts, as well as for her friendly hints to her audience: “Send your child to school in shorts today, it’s going to be a hot one” or "Put some oatmeal in the bath water today to combat dry skin" and "It's going to be headache weather today . . .”

Jodi is a graduate of Mississippi State and holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. Early on in her career Jodi was a writer for a weekly newspaper, as well as an editor, and a feature writer. Jodi began her career in broadcasting as an intern at CBS2 in Palm Springs. Later she joined NBC where she says she had 10 very good years.

Jodi and her husband, Mark, consider themselves entrepreneurs at heart and are excited about their future together. While in their twenties, they had invested in a hotel which became a very successful venture. Jodi is currently developing her own brand. Mark works in sales at ABC.

Jodi, Mark and their two young sons live in downtown San Diego. They enjoy spending time together visiting places of interest in San Diego and New York City.
