Filner Visits Rancho Peñasquitos Schools, Says PUSD Bond Was 'Absolutely Necessary'
Mayor Bob Filner visited three schools on Thursday, according to a report.
San Diego Mayor Bob Filner toured three Poway Unified schools in the Rancho Peñasquitos neighborhood on Thursday, according to a U-T San Diego report.
Filner—who visited Mt. Carmel High, Black Mountain Middle and Sunset Hills Elementary schools—said the controversial bond deal was "absolutely necessary," according to the newspaper.
