Residents of All Ages Are Invited to Submit Artwork for a Chance to Win and to Ride in the Spirit of the 4th Independence Day Parade.
The Rancho Bernardo Community Council is sponsoring the second annual contest to design flags representing our community. Deadline for submitting your creative design is 11:59 P.M., March 15, 2019.
The Rancho Bernardo Flag Design contest was conceived by former Rancho Bernardo Community Council Student Representative, Leily Rezvani in 2018 as a way of bringing the Rancho Bernardo community together, celebrating the creativity of our community, and raising awareness of the Rancho Bernardo Community Council among Rancho Bernardo residents. The contest is open to Rancho Bernardo residents only, and entries will be judged by a non-member of the Rancho Bernardo Community Council.
Participating creative artists must use the RB logo (located at the bottom of the entry form) or the words “Rancho Bernardo” in their flag design. No other words can be used, and designs must represent our community without promoting any race, color, creed, individual, group, or religion. Entrants are required to email their artistic design in JPEG format ONLY, along with the Flag Design entry form (download attached document), to: Winning designs in each category, Pre-School, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and 18 & Older, will be made into flags which will be on display in various locations in the community. Winners will also be invited to ride in the Rancho Bernardo July 4th parade with their winning flag. www.rbcommunitycouncil.com
