Patch to Join Web-Wide Moment of Silence for Sandy Hook Victims
The web-wide tribute is scheduled to occur at 9:30 a.m. EST, 6:30 a.m. PST.
Rancho Bernardo-4S Ranch Patch, along with AOL, its parent company, is scheduled to join numerous websites in a tribute Friday to the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims.
All Patch sites will "silenced" across the nation as we remember those who lost their lives much too soon last week.
The SOPA-style blackout is set to occur at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, 6:30 a.m Pacific Standard Time, Friday.

According to Tech Crunch, the campaign was inspired by a call for a moment of silence by Connecticut’s Governor, and spearheaded by Causes and SV Angel.
