Patriotism is more than just hot dogs and burgers on the grill. It is more than flying a flag on your property. There is a group of very dedicated volunteers who spend July 4 Independence Day making the day very special for their Rancho Bernardo Community. They are the "Spirit of the Fourth" volunteers who work throughout the year to bring you the July 4th Parade & Fireworks display, along with the Community Fair, 5K Freedom Run, etc. The Rancho Bernardo Community Council brings you the "Patriotic Pet Contest" and places American Flags on the median on RB Road.
If you pride yourself in your patriotism, volunteer to help make next year's 50th Anniversary "Spirit of the Fourth" celebration the best celebration ever!
