Poway Family Finds a Pleasant Surprise on Their Door

The Adam family of Poway created a lovely flower garden outside their home -- but a family of birds chose an artificial door wreath in which to nest their young. When Mrs. Adam first noticed the nest, she didn't give it much thought. Several days later, however, she was amazed to find four tiny eggs in place in the nest. She shared the news with her husband, Dan, and their young daughter, Annalise.

The artificial wreath homing the nest is actually one of two wreaths which grace her double front doors. Luckily the nest was built on the stationery door and the Adam family is now being very careful not to disturb the soon-to-be nestlings. Mrs. Adam reports "We feel special that they made our home, their home."
