Rancho Bernardo Area Gas Prices Highest Since July
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline has risen 11 of the past 12 days, increasing 8.3 cents.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Monday to its highest amount since July 10, increasing one-tenth of a cent to $2.923.
The average price has risen 11 of the past 12 days, increasing 8.3 cents, including 1.2 cents on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4 cents more than one week ago, 6.4 cents higher than one month ago and 38.1 cents greater than one year ago.

The increasing prices are the result of reduced supplies caused by scheduled routine maintenance at refineries, according to Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
