Rancho Bernardo Community Council Donates Over 100 Sports Items

The Rancho Bernardo Community Council recently donated over 100 new and gently used balls, bats, cleats, gloves, helmet, and other sport equipment to two recreation centers in the south area of San Diego.

Long time Community Council member, Eileen Kaufman, presented the concept of collecting and donating items to the full Board approximately last year. The idea was to afford less fortunate areas an opportunity to enjoy the items so that children can participate in various sports. Once enough equipment was collected, two recreation centers received the items.
