San Diego County Offices Closing Friday for Veteran's Day

SAN DIEGO COUNTY -- Veteran's Day is coming up, and in observance of the holiday, most County offices, libraries and animal shelters will be closed this Friday, Nov. 11.

All County parks and campgrounds will be open during normal business hours with the exceptions below:

• The Lakeside Community Center and its Teen Center/REC Club will be closed.
• The Fallbrook Community Center will be closed.
• The Spring Valley Community Center, its Teen Center/REC Club and the gym will be closed.
• The 4S Ranch Sports Park office will be closed, but the park will be open for regularly scheduled practices and games.

All essential services, including law enforcement and emergency animal control response, will continue to operate through the holiday.

County offices are expected to resume normal hours on Monday, Nov. 14.
