Coming Attractions: Teen Psychology, Disney Freaks and Beer
Noteworthy events and news in and around Rancho Santa Margarita this week.

1. Teen troubles? A free six-week class for parents of 13- to 18-year-olds takes place Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Rancho Santa Margarita Library. The Common Sense Parenting program is sponsored by Boystown California. For info, call the library at 949-459-6094.
2. Lovely Rita: If you're a fan of cold custard and/or you just like vertical green stripes, you may want to know about Orange County's first Rita's location. The dessert shop with an East Coast cult following opened its first Orange County outpost in the Kaleidoscope center off Crown Valley Parkway in Mission Viejo.
3. Quirky day alert:Â Monday is Beer Day. We think you can figure out how to celebrate.
4. Kick up your heels: Come and two-step under the stars Saturday at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano. The event will feature music and dancing with The Kelly Boyz. The evening will start at 5 with dance lessons. Dining, dancing and gaming kick off at 6. The party will feature a fun zone, silent auction, "casino" tables and raffle, with food and drinks from Bad to the Bone for sale. 5. For Disney nuts:Â D23, a three-day convention for fans of all things Disney, kicks off Friday with various previews and discussions about The Walt Disney Co. and its affiliated theme parks, films, TV shows and other products and services. D23 will also feature appearances by the casts of Disney Channel shows, an exclusive screening of the new film "Planes," a behind-the-scenes look at the famous "Mary Poppins" and more. The expo runs through Sunday. Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W. Katella Ave.
