Disneyland Park Opens Emotional Whirlwind, Pixar Pals Parking

ANAHEIM, CA — Ready, set, ride! the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind at Pixar Pier is now open, the Disneyland Parks announced. Located by Bing Bong's candy shop, and the Pixar Pal Around, guests can ride on balloon cars (strikingly similar to those now missing from Bugs Land), to experience all of Riley's emotions (Joy, Sadness, Disgust and Fear). The wall of memories is another touch of magic to enjoy.

You may also catch a glimpse of some new characters at Pixar Pier. Bo Peep has joined Woody for special appearances at the park.

Disneyland Resort spokespeople expect that the new structure and system will help ease traffic around the resort.

Plus, if you've ever tried to walk from Downtown Disney to Mickey and Friends, you're going to love this.

A new walkway bridge is currently under construction, set for completion by mid-September, the park said. If you've been recently, you'll see the great, white steel sections being lowered into place over Magic Way.

"The new bridge will connect visitors from Pixar Pals, over Magic Way, to the rest of the resort," they said.

Guests will be able to easily access Downtown Disney and the theme parks' main entrances.

"Eliminating foot traffic crossing the street at Disneyland Drive and Magic Way, the bridge provides convenience and enhances safety," they said.
