1. The Orange County Fair continues Wednesdays through Sundays through Aug. 11 with pig races, deep-fried food, rides, exhibits and more. Friday's highlights include the Amazing Dobermans at the Action Sports Arena, Styx at the Pacific Amphitheatre and Sublime tribute band 40 Oz to Freedom at the Hangar Entertainment Arena. Saturday features Ultimate Dodgeball Championships at the Action Sports Arena, the Beatles tribute band The Fab Four at the Pacific Amphitheatre and Pink Floyd tribute band Which One's Pink at the Hangar Arena. Sunday events include the OC Police Canine Show at the Action Sports Arena, Hunter Hayes and Sara Haze at the Pacific Amphitheatre and J Boog and Common Sense at the Hangar arena. Find schedules, directions and more info here.
2. Contemporary country music is featured as the Summer Concert Series continues at Central Park. The Silverados perform Sunday, 6 p.m., and comes on the heels of an Eagles band, classic rock band, and a Neil Diamond tribute artist. Crowds have been big and lively for the free events.
3. After the Silverados concert ends, head to Rancho Mission Viejo for Astronomy Night on Sunday, but you have to be registered by 4 p.m. Saturday.
4. Ravens will be the topic of discussion at the Caspers Park Foundation Nature Talk on Sunday, 9:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
