Embroiled RSM City Councilman Tony Beall Now Faces FPPC Complaint
Tony Beall is currently facing a recall in RSM and now we find he also has serious FPPC complaints along with his wife Jennifer

At the Rancho Santa Margarita council meeting on September 11, 2019, long time council member Tony Beall was served with a recall notice, which I wrote about here. After my story went live, I was contacted by a whistle blower that there were also Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) against both Tony Beall and his wife Jennifer Beall, who is an elected official for the Republican Central Committee to the 73rd district. I contacted the FPPC on Friday the 13th to request a copy of the complaint and was very surprised that I received it so quickly on the 16th. If you've been following my articles as this all unfolds with the TCA, it was just earlier this year that we have Tony on video at a TCA meeting talking about their form 700's that disclose the financials. Looking through this entire 79 page complaint, it appears that the Bealls pretty much never disclosed anything, or very little. Not even the lifetime family passes to Cinepolis after it opened in RSM while Tony was mayor, that alone is easily worth over $30,000.
Without further pre-amble, here is the letter I received from the FPPC confirming my request, and the first few pages of the complaint. The rest of the complaint shows their forms not disclosing gifts and various other items while also including pictures from social media of many of those gifts. You might want to follow the Recall Beall Facebook page if you want to stay up to date on that. If you want your own copy, it's easy enough to call and ask, you can see the information on the form here.
