LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Rams today re-signed center Tim Barnes and safety Cody Davis, who had both become free agents, to two-year contracts, and resigned offensive lineman Brian Folkerts, who was slated to become an unrestricted free agent.
The signings were made on the opening day of the NFL's free agent signing period.
Barnes started all 16 games last season, helping anchor an offensive line that surrendered a league-low 18 sacks and opened holes for running back Todd Gurley, who was selected as the league's Rookie of the Year in voting conducted by The Associated Press.

Davis was second on the team in special teams tackles with 11 and caught a 20-yard pass from punter Johnny Hekker on a fake.
The Rams also extended qualifying offers to quarterback Case Keenum and running back Benny Cunningham, both restricted free agents.
