Ladder In Lanes Backs Up 241 Toll Road Traffic In Orange County
A report of debris scattered across the southbound 241 toll road, near the 91 offramp caused a bit of traffic mayhem, Tuesday morning.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Drivers heading south on State 241 Toll Road off the 91 Freeway ran into a traffic mess Tuesday morning, California Highway Patrol officers reported.
Two utility trucks collided on the southbound 241, causing a ladder, glass and other debris scattered across the #4 lane near the toll plaza, CHP reported.
No one was injured during the incident, according to CHP.

Multiple drivers reported the incident, which occurred just before 8 a.m. At least one lane of the southbound 241 freeway at Windy Ridge Toll Plaza was blocked during the cleanup after the fact.
The truck drivers were outside their trucks and attempted to clean up debris that fell from the back of both vehicles, according to reports.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene to assist. The scene was cleared before 9 a.m., according to reports.
