RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — She's an adorable, sweet 2-year-old Kelpie mix patiently awaiting her forever home. Known at the animal services center as Gemma, she has won the hearts of volunteers and workers since arriving at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center two months ago.

Gemma is a lover of all people – and all toys! In fact, she will play with any toy regardless of its size, texture or sound. Her fondness for toys has become her security blanket, as it’s not uncommon to see her on a walk with a toy in her mouth. She walks great on leash and will snuggle up to her people.

At 57 pounds, she still considers herself a lap dog. She has shown a mild prey drive, so she would do best in a home without small animals.

Her adoption will include her spay, microchip, vaccinations and flea control all at the promotion price of $20.
