Pediatric Cancer Research Fundraiser

Local family hit with ALCL cancer in their 7-year-old daughter hold fundraiser for research

In July 2019 Dan and Amanda Smith were hit with the devastating news that their seven year old daughter Lynden had stage 3 ALCL cancer. It was sheer luck that they discovered the problem as soon as they did and they rapidly began treatment. To help raise money for treatment of pediatric cancer, the family has engaged in various fundraisers, including creating handmade "Lynden Lotus Bracelets" that you can bid on here. In addition they had an auction for a seat at Jenny Evans gatherings and a lemonade stand.

The family is having another fundraiser at Islands in Foothill Ranch on September 30th from 4pm to closing, just present this flyer when you go and Islands will donate 20% of your food purchase back to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. The restaurant is located at 26582 Towne Centre Drive. Just use the image below and help support this great cause. I am happy to report that earlier this month they had a scan that shows no visible signs of cancer in Lynden.
