Rep. Katie Porter Hosts 'Policy In The Park' For RSM Residents
Rancho Santa Margarita area congresswoman Katie Porter will be on hand to speak to her constituents July 11 at Mike Ward Community Park.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rep. Katie Porter, who represents the 45th Congressional District will host an in-person, outdoor Town Hall on July 11.
Porter represents residents of Irvine, Tustin, North Tustin, Villa Park, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita as well as parts of Anaheim, Orange, Laguna Woods, Mission Viejo and Trabuco Canyon.
Porter will take questions from Orange County families during this “Policy in the Park,” her first in-person town hall of the term. Her hope is to engage with Orange County families directly about the issues that matter most to them.

During her time in Congress, Congresswoman Porter has led the fight to end political corruption, increase government transparency, and hold leaders of both parties accountable, a spokesperson for Porter says.
"She has matched her commitment to transparency with concrete action by publicly posting the meetings she takes, and by hosting 49 town hall events since taking office in January 2019," they say.

The event will feature a question and answer session with Congresswoman Porter, activities for kids, opportunities to connect with staff about how to get help from a federal agency, and more.
