Santa Margarita Little League Team Arrives In Williamsport
Your Santa Margarita All Stars have arrived in Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series 2017. Here's what you need to know.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — With a Saturday win over Utah, the National Division 12 Year Old All-Star team won Western Regional Title. Now, the boys have arrived to represent the West at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. For most families, it is a costly but undeniably priceless opportunity for parents who have taken their sons from t-ball to little league practice since they were old enough to hold a bat.
The Santa Margarita boys of summer will start out their series Friday, playing the Northwest at 4 p.m. eastern time, in the brackets that were released on Monday. That gives families three more days to figure out how to get there.
"While Little League International covers expenses for the children and coaches to participate, they do not cover the travel costs of the families," the league said. "As the boys move on through the tournament, their parents have continued to spend lots of time and money to support them. We believe the average family will spend a minimum of $1500- $2500 during the World Series tournament. While all the parents realize that covering expenses related to baseball is not the same as others, they still have the unplanned burden of $1,000 in expenses if they wish to watch their kids play."

The boys have already gotten their SWAG and tour of the famed Little League World Series facilities on Monday. Now, it's time to get ready to start their series.
