ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Indulge guilt-free in extra servings on Thanksgiving Day after participating in the new American tradition: The Turkey Trot!
These walks, races and runs come in all varieties, from the super challenging to the easy, flat-course and stroller-friendly, and abound throughout the Orange County region. Many benefit worthy causes, and turkey-day costumes are always a plus!
Below is our annual round-up of the best local events in the area. Do note the dates, however, as some do not fall on Thanksgiving Day, which this year is Thursday, Nov. 22.

NOV. 22: Plymouth Rock N' Run. 5K, 10K, 10M, Kids' Run, Tot Trot, and dogs welcome. Proceeds support spinal-cord injury research.
NOV. 22: Angel Stadium Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run. Costumes encouraged!

NOV. 23: Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, 15K, Half-Marathon. A Black Friday option.
NOV. 24: Orange Coast Musical Arts' Cornucopia 5K. Supports home-school musical programs.

NOV. 22: TVT Cares Turkey Trot 5K & 1K Fun Run. Hosted by Tarbut V'Torah Community Day School to feed the needy.

NOV. 10: Turkeys On Trails 2018: Irvine Regional Park. 5K in Irvine Regional Park on beginner-friendly trails & 10K goes into Santiago Oaks. Lil' Turkeys 1 Mile, too.

NOV. 22: Turkey Trot On The Ranch. Enjoy scenic trail pathway. Proceeds benefit The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo.
