Weather Service Issues Lightning Warning for Orange County Beaches
Residents are urged to take shelter as thunder and lightning storms pass through the area.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — This unpredictable weather is expected to continue through Monday afternoon with a chance of thunder and lightning up and down the Orange County coastline.
A lightning warning is in effect for Orange County Beaches until 1 p.m. Monday. The National Weather Service is warning residents to avoid the beach until the danger has passed. Scattered showers are expected to move through the region from San Diego County throughout the afternoon.
