While You Were Sleeping

This one’s in honor of my mom. It’s one of her favorites and we never tire of watching it together. While You were Sleeping gives hope to all the women who work in seemingly dead end jobs and find true love through freak accidents.

Shakespeare in Love

The bsolutely superb story line that weaves one of history’s greatest love stories (Romeo & Juliet) into Shakespeare’s own life makes this one of my favorite movies of all time. This classic is an all-around joy to watch, even on the other 364 days of the year.

The Notebook

The true on-screen (and off-screen) chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams turned the stereotypical summer romance plotline into an unparalleled love story. Though the Nicholas Sparks book was cheesy at best, the movie is a timeless classic that still has me sobbing at embarrassing decibels.
