A Map of February’s High Number of Burglaries

Within the month of February, the has arrested seven people for burglary.

Sergeant Sean Hart of the Investigations Unit said he couldn’t pinpoint a specific cause for the increase in burglary arrests. He said the eight officers in their patrol cars watching their respective geographical beats had been performing their normal duty.

“We’re just doing our job,” he said.

1. - Riviera Circle, Redwood Shores; Suspect: Omar Rogers, 25

2. and 3. Feb. 9 - 200 block of Upland Court; Suspects: Gilbert Tapia Garcia, 19, and Jesus Romero, 18

4. - 400 block of Tiller Lane, Redwood Shores; Suspect: Nghia Quoc Nguyen, 29

5. - 400 block of Stambaugh Street; Suspect: Jason Cerrutti, 36

6. - 1841 East Bayshore Boulevard; Suspect: Michael Schoening, 32

7. - 3700 block of Farm Hill Boulevard; Suspect: Andrew Jonke, 23
