Art Kiosk To Be Celebrated In Redwood City Next Week
Redwood City's arts program features exhibitions created by artists from all over the world that are brought to the Courthouse Square.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The newly renamed Arts Commission, which was previously called the Civic Cultural Commission, plans to celebrate its support of the Redwood City community on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. on the Courthouse Square near the Art Kiosk.
The "art kiosk" was established to bring thought-provoking displays to the Peninsula city through 10-month-long exhibitions throughout 2019.
Artists from the region and around the world have been invited to realize their ambitious site-specific commissions – often through local volunteers, artists and vendors. Each artist has researched the city, its history and people to grasp the meaning of the community for its citizens.
