CHP Investigate Fatal Crash on Hwy 101 Involving Pedestrian

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 101 involving a pedestrian.

Officers received reports of the accident at 1:02 a.m., in the southbound lanes of Highway 101, near Woodside Road, the CHP said.

When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian in the fourth lane of the highway, according to the CHP.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are currently investigating the incident, according to the CHP.
