Flipped Big Rig Cleared From Alpine Road: CHP
The tractor-trailer solo crash had closed the West Hills thoroughfare from Portola State Park Road to Pescadero Road but has since cleared.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Alpine Road was closed for about nine hours Monday due to an overturned tractor trailer on the 9000 block of the road that crosses the West Hills on the San Francisco Peninsula, California Highway Patrol reported with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department.
The closure was implemented from Pescadero Road to Portola State Park Road. Towing services were delayed, but the major obstacles was reported cleared at 9:45 p.m., CHP added.
The driver was uninjured in the solo vehicle crash.

California Fish and Wildlife was called to the scene to monitor the nearby watershed.
