Ground Fire In Woodside Burns 1/10 Acre Near Toyon Campground
The fire, on a steep and forested terrain near Toyon Campground in San Mateo County, burned for a couple hours Friday morning.

WOODSIDE, CA — Firefighters gained control of a fire that burned 1/10 acre near Toyon Campground in Woodside on Friday morning.
Smoke was first reported in the area of Huddart Park around 6 a.m. and a CalFire helicopter was dispatched to make water drops.
Cal Fire CZU reported forward progress was stopped at 9:19 a.m. and control of the blaze around 10 a.m. The agency determined it to be a ground fire because it didn't make it into the canopies.
