Crash, HazMat Incident Close Highway 84 In Woodside
Commuters were advised to use alternate routes.
WOODSIDE, CA — San Mateo County officials reported a road closure Thursday afternoon on state Highway 84 in Woodside due to a traffic collision and co-occurring hazardous materials incident.
The crash occurred between Fox Hill and Portola roads, according to an email sent out by the county's emergency alert system around 3:50 p.m.
County officials say there is no estimate for when the roadway will reopen, so commuters were advised to use alternate routes if possible.
