King Mountain Arts Fair Slated For Labor Day Holiday Weekend

The popular Woodside event celebrating 50 years of shows is expected to attract heavy traffic on Skyline Boulevard between SR-84 and 92.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A traffic advisory was issued for the Skyline Boulevard area between State Routes 84 and 92 over the holiday weekend because of the Kings Mountain Art Fair, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.

This end-of-season fair, which is billed as a magical festival scheduled from Saturday through Monday, is a popular event that brings on heavy traffic in the mountainous terrain in the San Francisco Peninsula coastal range at 13889 Skyline Blvd. in Woodside.

The arts fair is celebrating a half century of art, brews and wine in a quasi outdoor art gallery displaying some of the finest handmade arts and crafts on the West Coast. All the art is original art made by the artists who show up at the exhibits.
