Local Educator Wins Patch’s Car Repair Monthly Giveaway
After a tough break, the Kemper family will receive car repairs up to $1500.

A para educator in a special needs preschool in the Redwood City School District will no longer have to worry about the “Check Engine” sign and flashing brake light.
Thanks to ’ generosity, Jen Kemper and her family will have a smooth running car, one less thing to cause worry.
Kemper’s employment ends for the summer next week and her fiancé was recently laid off. Car payments can eat away into a monthly budget that could be spent on her two children instead.

“We probably aren't the most deserving or needy of the families in our area,” Kemper wrote in her email. “But I thought it was worth a chance.”
Well, we at Patch think the Kemper family is incredibly deserving.
