Loma Mar Crash Knocked Out Cell Service, Closed Road: SMC

San Mateo County issued an alert Tuesday morning from the incident off Pescadero Creek Road that closed the road, but it has since reopened.

WOODSIDE, CA — A crash in Loma Mar in San Mateo County on Tuesday morning affected traffic and also local cellphone service because it damaged a utility connection, county emergency officials said.

The county issued an alert at about 9:45 a.m. about the crash in the 8000 block of Pescadero Creek Road, which consequently closed. It reopened about four hours later.

One-way traffic control in the area was initiated while emergency officials and utility crews responded to the crash, according to the county.
