Major Collision In Redwood City Shuts Down Lanes On Highway 101

All lanes were reopened around 10:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A traffic collision on northbound Highway 101 in Redwood City involving at least three vehicles blocked several lanes near Broadway on Wednesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert at 9:47 a.m. All lanes were reopened around 10:30 a.m.

Preliminary CHP reports indicated that the crash occurred before 9:30 a.m. Tow trucks were called for three vehicles, which all suffered major damage, according to reports.

An ambulance was requested to the scene, but it wasn't immediately clear if there were injuries.
