Man Arrested, Accused Of Lewd Acts With Peninsula Juvis: SMC

The Turlock man is accused of approaching the same girl walking from her Daly City school with suggestions of lewd acts, sheriff's reported.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — San Mateo County sheriff's deputies arrested a Turlock man Tuesday on suspicion of exposing himself to several juveniles in Daly City and Millbrae since March.

Tajh Deshon Collins, 29, is suspected of exposing his genitals to a girl walking home from school in Daly City on March 22 and asking her if she wanted to perform a lewd act. Collins is suspected of contacting the same girl walking home from school and behaving inappropriately on May 2.

Collins allegedly exposed himself to two juveniles in Millbrae on May 5 and two different juveniles in Millbrae on May 28, according to the sheriff's office. A sheriff's deputy on patrol in Millbrae on June 7 saw a driver of a vehicle that matched the description from the earlier cases. The deputy wrote down the vehicle's information and sent it to San Mateo County sheriff's detectives.

Collins was arrested Tuesday after an intensive investigation by the sheriff's office and Daly City police. He was booked in the county jail on suspicion of three counts of annoying or molesting a child, two counts of engaging in lewd conduct and one count of contacting a minor for a sexual offense.

The sheriff's office said Collins is associated with three different vehicles and investigators believe there are more victims.
