Man Arrested In San Mateo County On Suspicion Of Rape, Threats

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A San Mateo County resident was arrested on Monday on suspicion of rape and making terrorist threats.

David Mata, a 26-year-old resident of unincorporated San Mateo County, was arrested on Nasturtium Road.

According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, a victim informed deputies Monday that her ex-boyfriend had threatened and raped her multiple times over the last four months.

Mata was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on the two felony charges.
