Mountain Lion Seen in Emerald Hills Neighborhood

The animal was spotted Wednesday night according to San Mateo County emergency officials.

A mountain lion was seen in an unincorporated neighborhood near Redwood City on Wednesday night, San Mateo County emergency officials said.

The big cat was seen near Hamilton Way in the Emerald Lake Hills neighborhood at about 9:15 p.m., county emergency officials said.
