Play On Broadway As Improv Actor
Redwood City based is re-launching its popular Improv Saturday classes starting in February for those who may want to be the next SNL star.

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Ever dream of being the next "Saturday Night Live" star like Kate McKinnon, Tina Fey or Will Ferrel?
How about just gaining some on-the-job training learning Improv?
Improvisation seminars are routinely used as training for tech companies seeking those shining stars reaching for innovation stars -- those who are able to get out of their comfort zones and exude the kind of self-confidence it takes to make it in the Silicon Valley and Peninsula.

As a neighborhood theater company, Dragon Theatre understands this quest. The Redwood City theater is bringing back the popular Improv class slated for Saturday mornings, with the winter session beginning Feb. 23. The class runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
This class welcomes everyone -- whether a student is new to Improv or a seasoned improviser.

The session located at 2120 Broadway St. is taught by Corinne Kason, a professional actress who has worked in New York, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. She taught Improv for the Screen Actors Guild Conservatory in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Currently, Kason teaches Improv at the San Carlos Charter Learning School.
It's adult-themed, so enrollment requires attendees are ages 18 and up. There's a minimum requirement of eight people for the class to be a "go." The maximum is 16 students accepted.
Registration closes at 5 pm on Feb. 21. The cost is $200 for the entire six weeks, with an early bird discount of $175, if registration is made by Feb. 7. Questions will be fielded at the following email address: classes@dragonproductions.net.
