Police Arrest Three Men for Attempted Murder
The suspects cut the victim with a broken bottle outside a Woodside Road restaurant.
Redwood City Police officers arrested three men for the attempted murder of a Redwood City resident outside a Mexican restaurant, according to a police report released today.
On Saturday, July 21, a fight had broken out at at 768 Woodside Road. Officers arrived at the scene the victim had suffered from serious facial and other injuries.
Surveillance and witness’ statements indicate that the suspects, Juan Carlos Madero, 30, Jonathan Ortiz Fuentes, 22, and Robert Gallegos, 29, all from Redwood City, allegedly beat the victim and cut him with a broken bottle.

The 34-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The motive has not been determined, but the suspects are known gang members, according to the Street Crime and Gang Suppression Team.

The suspects were booked into the San Mateo County Jail for attempted murder and participating in a criminal street gang.
