Redwood City Announces Phased Reopening Plan

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City announced a phased approach to reopening community services over the next four to six months.

The plan, called Redwood City Reimagined, is in four phases.

Phase 1 began with weekly outdoor Tai Chi and Yoga classes at the Fair Oaks Community Center in early April, along with the reopening of the Redwood City Public Library and Storytimes in Roselli Park.

Phase 2 begins in July with in-person service by the Building, Planning and Revenue Services department and the expansion of storytimes. Downtown and park concert and movie series will begin in mid-July.

Phase 3 begins in August with community centers reopening for drop-in uses, classes and rentals. Oktoberfest and Halloween events are also planned for the fall.

Phase 4 runs between October and December and includes in-person access to City Hall reopening and events like Dia de los Muertos and Winter Wonderland.
