Redwood City Man Charged With Assault With A Deadly Weapon

The man lived in the same residence as the victim and the two had a physical altercation, according to police.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City police arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing at a residence on Scott Avenue.

In a news release Monday, police claimed the suspect, 22-year-old Jesus Cisneros, lived in the same home as the victim, who was stabbed in the chest with an unknown sharp object. The victim suffered a non-life threatening four-inch laceration, and police said he identified Cisneros as the perpetrator when they arrived. Cisneros was still at the scene and was taken into custody.

Cisneros faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. Police said he and the victim had a physical altercation that led to the attack.
