Redwood City Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City man, his brother and girlfriend were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a child pornography case.

Moises Vieyragellegos, 25, was charged with possession of child pornography after an investigation by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office that began in October 2020 with a cybertip from the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Child Task Force.

Vieyragellegos had several photos of child pornography, according to the sheriff’s office, which served a search warrant at his Redwood City home.

Vieyragellegos’ brother, 27-year-old Ramon Vieyragellgos, and girlfriend, 26-year-old Alexia Lopezreyes, were charged with criminal conspiracy and concealing evidence after the sheriff’s office said they attempted to conceal or destroy evidence related to the case.

All three suspects were booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility.
