Redwood City Police Arrest Suspect In Stolen Vehicle Case

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City police arrested a suspect in connection with a stolen vehicle and possession of an unregistered firearm on Wednesday.

The suspect, 24-year-old Craig Spencer-Doran, admitted to stealing a Ford Explorer and possessing a loaded Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol, according to police.

Redwood City Street Crimes Suppression Team Detectives located the stolen vehicle parked in the area of Middlefield Road and Spruce Street on Wednesday evening, and detained Spencer-Doran when he was observed entering the vehicle, police said. Police found the weapon during a search of the car.

Spencer-Doran faces charges of vehicle theft, felon in a possession of a firearm and possessing a concealed firearm within a vehicle. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
