Redwood City Seeks Applicants For Redistricting Committee
The committee will advise the city council on setting electoral boundaries for city council districts.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City is seeking applicants for the Advisory Redistricting Committee, which will advise the city council on setting electoral boundaries for city council districts. The deadline is Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
The city is undergoing a redistricting process based on new data from the 2020 U.S. Census after transitioning from an at-large election system to a district based election system for city council members in 2019.
The city council will make appointments for the committee on June 28 after interviews. The committee will meet approximately 15 times throughout the process, which must be completed by April 17, 2022.
