San Mateo County Democracy for America - 2018: Year of the Woman!
Our Monthly Meeting will feature two speakers from Wire for Women; an organization seeking to ignite Political Power in every young woman.
The election of Donald Trump has galvanized American women of all ages to
action, whether it's running for office or participating in other
political activity.
Our speakers this month are CAROLE MARSHALL MAYER,
President of WIRE, a non-artisan organization committed to increasing
the number of women in appointed and elected office in San Mateo and
Santa Clara counties, and AMY ZUCCHERO, Chief of Resource Development and Communication at IGNITE, part of a national movement to train young women to own their share of political power.
