REDWOOD CITY, CA — In line with what Peninsula motorists call a crappy commuter thoroughfare, a flipped sewage truck made matters much worse by blocking lanes and creating a stinky situation on U.S. Highway 101, California Highway Patrol reported.

No one was hurt.

The crash reported around midday south of San Antonio Road closed three lanes on both the south- and northbound sides of the busy highway, according to CHP. All northbound lanes are open, but sections of the southbound side are still closed.
