State Highway 84 Closed After Crash Knocks Down Utility Pole
A stretch of State Highway 84 near Woodside has been closed since Saturday evening, when a car crash knocked down a utility pole.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — State Highway 84 remained closed Sunday morning from Fox Hill Road to state Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard) after a car crash knocked down a utility pole Saturday evening, sending live power lines onto the roadway
The roadway, near the Thornewood Preserve in unincorporated San Mateo County near Woodside, is expected to reopen about 2 p.m., the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.
Drivers are advised to use other routes.
