Man Injured In Stabbing, Two Charged With Assault
The unidentified victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the stabbing Thursday on Spring Street.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City man and a teen were each charged with assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a nonfatal stabbing in North Fair Oaks Thursday afternoon.
An unidentified man was stabbed in the abdomen during a physical altercation on Spring Street and was treated at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said.
Hector Avila, 24, and an unidentified 15-year-old boy were taken into custody at the scene, the sheriff's office said.

Avila was booked into San Mateo County Jail. The youth was taken to the San Mateo Youth Service Center.
