A 74-year-old Redwood City woman was given quite a scare when two men attempted to break into her home Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police said the woman heard a knock at her front door at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday. She looked outside and did not recognize the two men, so she did not open the door.
The woman called police when the suspects entered her backyard, broke a window and attempted to enter her Upland Court home.
