So, the age-old question remains - how do you keep your kids entertained for that long?

Here at RedwoodCity-Woodside Patch, we posed that question to readers on our Facebook page - and it seems, we weren't the only ones eager to know the answer to that question.

Reader Nadine Moreno commented, "I'd really like to know what working parents are doing!! Most camps I saw were $200+ per week per kid!!"

Victor Pacheco Garcia joked, "Playstation."

Brooke Shannon Boyle said, "Monterey Bay Aquarium, playdates and parks."

It seems some local parents are seizing the opportunity for extended vacations with their school-age kids.

Mary Lucier Askins said, "Maui, Hawaii."

Diane Yelinek McClymond said, "Lake Tahoe."
